What I admire most in founders is the combination of deep conviction in their vision and the intellectual honesty to evolve it as they learn. I try to hold myself to the same standard in the work I do alongside them.

Maciej is a Vice President at OTB Ventures, where he brings experience across strategy consulting, high-growth operating roles, and the public sector. Before joining OTB, Maciej was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he worked with private equity sponsors on buy- and sell-side due diligence and value creation. In late 2024, he served as Deputy Director at the Polish Ministry of State Assets and Chief of Staff to the Minister, working on reforms across a €120bn+ portfolio of state-owned enterprises.

Earlier, Maciej spent two years at Razor Group in Berlin, helping scale the business from pre-seed to a $1bn+ valuation, gaining first-hand experience of what hypergrowth demands but also what can break along the way. Maciej holds a Bachelor of Laws from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Management from Imperial Business School.

Beyond OTB:

  • A former member of the Polish National Youth Fencing Team, Maciej still follows the sport, though these days he's more often in the gym or sauna. When he's not, he's trying to beat his friends at Catan or indulging his nerdier side by "monitoring the situation" in global markets and geopolitics.
