Position Overview
OTB Ventures is seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to join our VC Investment Team for a summer internship. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a venture capital investing team.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with investment professionals, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to evaluate investment opportunities and support portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the team with:
- Sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities across our preferred sectors: SpaceTech, Enterprise Automation & AI, FinTech Infrastructure and Cybersecurity.
- Shadowing of board meetings.
- Cooperation with associates.
- Preparation of investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and investment themes.
- Collaborate with the investment team on special projects and initiatives to enhance the firm's investment strategy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation, with a keen interest in venture capital and startup ecosystems.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in finance, business, economics, or engineering.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
