OTB Ventures expands European presence through new office opening in Luxembourg and significant hires
OTB is delighted to announce the launch of its Luxembourg office and the hiring of three new team members from the Promus team, to support the firm’s efforts in the region: Jeremy Teboul, who was a Partner in the Promus team deploying the Orbital Ventures fund, Estelle Godard who was a Vice-President and Kateryna Lopatynska who managed all of the Promus team’s operations and administration. All three will hold similar positions in OTB’s Luxembourg office.
This development marks an important step in OTB’s development, further reinforcing its position as a pan-European deep tech champion in venture capital. OTB will now have three offices across Poland (Warsaw), the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and Luxembourg, and a total of 16 staff across the firm.
The new team members will bring valuable experience covering earlier-stage (pre-seed and seed) investment in robotics, space tech, enterprise automation, and AI, all key areas of focus for OTB. OTB’s new Luxembourg team and office will enhance the firm’s deal flow in markets such as the Benelux and France.
Deep tech has grown significantly in recent years and has proven to be one of the most successful sectors in European VC. OTB has played a leading role in this and is currently invested in companies such as Hydrosat and ICEYE. It has also successfully exited companies such as Minit and BabbleLabs to the likes of Microsoft and Cisco respectively.
Adam Niewinski and Marcin Hejka, Co-Founders and Managing Partners at OTB Ventures, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome Jeremy, Estelle, and Kateryna to the team as we expand our presence with our new Luxembourg office. Having known them for a long time, we deeply value their expertise and shared passion for deep tech. Their addition strengthens OTB’s ability to support breakthrough innovation across Europe. With their presence and capabilities, OTB Ventures further solidifies its position as a leading pan-European deep tech investor.”
Jeremy Teboul, new Partner at OTB Ventures, on behalf of the three new joiners, added:
“We have always been impressed with OTB Ventures’ ability to spot transformative deep tech businesses and look forward to bringing our own experience of robotics, space tech, enterprise automation and AI, as well as earlier-stage opportunities, to the team. Luxembourg is rapidly emerging as a critical hub for deep tech innovation, offering a strong ecosystem supported by institutional backing, and a thriving space sector. We are excited to contribute to the launch of OTB Ventures’ Luxembourg office as the firm expands its reach into key markets such as the Benelux and France.”
