About the Role

We are looking for a curious, proactive, and self-directed Analyst / Associate to join our Warsaw-based investment team in a full-time role. We value sound judgment, clear thinking, and the ability to take ownership just as much as analytical skill and prior experience.

This position offers hands-on exposure to venture capital from day one. You will work closely with senior team members across the full investment process, including sourcing, analysis, due diligence, deal execution, and collaboration with portfolio companies. The role combines structured analytical work with practical involvement in live transactions and fund operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and develop investment pipeline of Series A investments, reach out to most prospective companies and screen inbound and outbound investment opportunities.
• Perform market research and competitive analyses.
• Analyze technology trends and contribute to building OTB Ventures’ investment theses.
• Support commercial and financial DD.
• Support build-out of our internal tools and capabilities (pipeline discovery, monitoring and tracking; portfolio support; market communication, etc.).
• Work alongside our Team while executing transactions.
• Represent OTB Ventures at conferences and meetups.

Who You Are

• Passionate about startups and have an eye for spotting disruptive innovations.
• Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal skills; able to present complex ideas in a structured and compelling way.
• You have strong analytical and research capabilities - you enjoy diving into complex topics and extracting key insights.
• Self-starter with a high level of ownership and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Last year or graduate of masters degree in business, finance, STEM; a combination of business/economic and technical background highly supported.
• Working experience with Microsoft Office - specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
• Prior experience in VC/DeepTech startup/tech consulting/investment banking environment considered a plus.
